More About Me

I'm ready to help you find your next home!

With more than ten years in the real estate industry, I bring a wealth of experience to my clients. I spent six years teaching with Coldwell Banker University, the industry's highest rated program for training and development, before getting my license and selling here in South Orange and Maplewood (SOMA). With Coldwell Banker University I worked directly with leaders in the industry, at all levels from the CEO of the brand, to the award-winning marketing team, to the best-performing agents across the country to develop and teach best practices for customer service, marketing and managing a real estate business. When the time came for me to move on, I leveraged these best practices to launch my own career in real estate sales.

When I decided to leave the corporate world to begin selling, I chose the Maplewood office because both the community and the office are just the sort of environment where I could come and make an impact. I love the diversity, the energy and the creativity of this area and enjoy meeting the people who are drawn here by those same characteristics. Selling real estate brings together my passions for learning, architecture and helping others to achieve their dreams.

In 2022 I obtained the Real Estate Instructor License and now prepare students to take the Real Estate Salesperson License exam. In addition to teaching I tutor students seeking additional preparation to challenge the NJ Real Estate Salesperson Exam. Teaching helps keep me up to date on the latest rules and regulations, and has enabled me to deepen my knowledge of the law of agency. This helps me to be a better agent for my clients.

As a real estate professional, I wear many hats. I work as a counselor, consultant and agent to provide guidance, data and professional representation for every client selling or buying a home. My background as a teacher, engineer and licensed professional help me to listen to my clients, develop innovative solutions and fight hard on their behalf.

If you are looking to buy, sell or rent a home in Maplewood/South Orange or anywhere along the Morris/Essex train line, I'd be more than happy to help you through that process, please give me a call.

About Me:

I was raised in Westfield, NJ, as well as Colorado, Illinois and Pennsylvania. I have degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from Virginia Tech and a masters in history from Fairleigh Dickinson University, where I wrote my thesis on the evolution of architecture and community planning from the turn of the 20th century to the development of Levittown, Long Island just after World War II. I have always had a fascination with architecture and design, and a talent for teaching going all the way back to teaching you children to swim while I was in high school. After a career as an auditor and computer programmer in financial services, then in learning for an office equipment manufacturer I found my way to Coldwell Banker University as an instructional designer, developing training for real estate agents around the world for six years. At last I found an industry that engages my passions, and a brand that was as customer focused as I am!
